Let’s look at a couple of examples. Let’s say Dora, our patient, is coming to Artistic Dentistry for a smile makeover cosmetic dental veneer case. She has a number of old, large composite, or tooth colored fillings in her front upper teeth that are redecayed and discolored. Let’s say that during her already competitively priced porcelain laminate veneer preparation appointment, the decay in one of her teeth is so deep that she needs a root canal.
In many dental offices, the smile makeover would be put on hold and Dora would have to schedule and make an extra trip to yet a different dental office to see an endodontist, a root canal specialist, for the treatment.
